| NGO Connect is probably
India's first printed news tabloid. It was started in April 2003 to disseminate
news about the work of NGOs in India. It is a bi-monthly of 8 pages, with
a subscription of Rs100 per year to cover printing costs. It carries news,
job opportunities, awards, media news, and corporate partnerships formed.
It hopes NGOs will share their successes and their problems so that they
can learn from each others experiences, rather than duplicate them. It also
hopes that all NGOs will network and band together to support each others
